Bavar Steel Moment Frame is a software for controlling the seismic provisions of intermediate and special steel moment frames. The required shear strength of beams and joint shear in intermediate and special steel moment frames, as well as the ratio of column bending moment to beam bending moment in special steel moment frames are among the very important controls.
Performing these controls manually for all elements and joints may require hours of time. Also, due to the complex formulation and dependence on numerous parameters, it may reduce the accuracy of the calculations.
Bavar Steel Moment Frame software is able to perform all these calculations using AISC and the tenth topic of the Iranian National Building codes in a few seconds by connecting to the Etabs software and extracting information about sections, materials, analysis results and identification of the required elements.
